Where is devilsaur in ungoro crater

For something so huge it's surprising how stealthy it can be and sneak up on you from what feels like no where. If you're a hunter having Track Beasts on is def a plus but won't necessarily save your skin if you're not paying attention. Comment by This big boy has a movement speed almost as fast as a character running hence why he 'sneaks' up on so many people.

Any pet class should be able to solo him, possibly at lvl 50 but more likely Comment by maaxi Easy kill as a lvl 56 warlock. Get youre felguard or what pet you have on him and dot up, shoot some shadow bolts and fear him and sh1t!!

Comment by Soloed as a level 52 mage see screenshot. He's damn stealthy, be careful, especially when doing quests involving the dinosaurs. Comment by If fate decides to be on your side, this guy is pretty cool. Ganked some horde that was camping me during my Chasing A-Me 01 quest. But then Hazards of PvP servers, I suppose, but then I'm on a normal server. How about hazards of being flagged? Nice drops and pretty soloable as a 53 rogue. Comment by I vote they rename them Ninjasaur.

Comment by shartyshank This guy was annoying to find he is needed for a druid chain quest if you look at the map, its hard to tell, but you can kind of see the path he walks on throughout of un'goro i just followed it until i found him. Comment by Kurasu As far as I can tell, all the Devilsaurs have a shared spawn point. A friend asked me to kill a Tyrant Devilsaur on its path.

Once this was done, we got 'visits' from an Ironhide Devilsaur and a normal Devilsaur walking along the exact same path as the Tyrant. Now that they're tameable, there's a lot more reason to want to find a specific type of Devilsaur, so hunters, feel free to do some ganking and clear the path for the Devilsaur you really want.

Comment by Damn! It killed me a lot of times Comment by they hit fr on cloth probably a crit cuz i was lvl 47 when i first got attacked by one of them.

Comment by Rozenberg Can be tamed with 51st talent it Beast Mastery. Comment by I've beat one with a 52 retadin. Yeah, had to use some heals on myself.

Comment by He hits for around , crit. Comment by the regular devilsaur and a different type of devilsaur i forget which one were pating ungoro together and both sneaked up on me Comment by mlawson03 For training, I found that throwing down a freeze trap and then trying to tame is almost fool-proof at lvl I did them almost back to back and he wasn't able to use that annoying knockback to interrupt.

Didn't notice any exceptional stealth, I noticed it way before it came in range. No idea how come feint death always seems to work against them. Edit: hit 51, now soloing those. How much leather do I need to make the whole devilsaur set?

Comment by zariplz These things scare the crap outta me every once and a while. I'm questing in Un'Goro atm and damn it sucks to turn around and see one of these beasts wailing on your pet. I freezing trapped his big dino ass and high-tailed it outta there. I probably could have taken him. But I would've used some of my pots, used BW and likely aggroed a few nearby mobs as well. I don't like close-calls. Comment by I was in Un'goro farming for the disgusting oozeling, when I decided it was time for a little payback on Mr.

Comment by I remember on my level 54 pally, One started attacking me.. And i got it to 11health before i died. I also had one of the flying things attacking me and i was low on mana. I was prot. Then i came back on my hunter and tamed him. Fluffy the white Devilsaur ftw. But yeah, If you're new to Un'Goro, look out. Comment by IngExe Soloed with my 52 Pala. I have armor,he was hitting me for about without critical. I used bubble and potion. Comment by Souliepiekin When I tamed the this mob, my druid friend entangled the devilsaur with roots, travel formed and raced from aggro range.

I then hit tame beast and we both hoped and prayed and begged the powers that be that the tame would go through in time. It worked. Thing didn't land a hit on me after I stopped attempting to solo-tame the thing :D. Comment by oedura As of patch 3. Comment by This is an exotic pet! Make sure u have the talent to tame it! Comment by These devilsaurs have a knockback move that they use on you every now and then when you are fighting them. Make sure your back is to a tree if you challenge one of these.

I solo'd one as a 58 Druid. The trick? Hibernate, Starfire, repeat. Maybe some Bear form in there for fun. You will likely run out of mana while doing this, so innervate is extrememly useful.

Happy Hunting! Comment by Thottbot Thank you SO much for that map! Myself 54 and a rogue friend 53 went to Un'Goro to put together the leather for 2 pairs of Devilsaur Gauntlets. Thanks to the map we could clear from one side right through to the next, run back to the start and do it all over again. Didn't take very long at all to get our 16 total, and the Devilsaurs were pretty easy kills. Comment by Thottbot Lol, they make look damn intimidating, like that Jurassic park thing where he hunkers down on that guy on the john and whips him around like a rag doll, but they're pushovers Fearing my pet away and lumbering after me is not very entertaining, although seeing him drop and seeing the succulent skin peeled off him is.

Take ur time and learn how to fight em, locks and hunts Even if ur not a skinner, having the satisfaction to be able to take one down is proof enough that u know how to play ur char at lvl 55 and take a same or above lvl elite down. Comment by Thottbot Any idea how I could kill one of these on my 55 mage? Dont waste your time running around for these things, pick a spot with no adds and wait for them is much easier.

For fighting i used cheap shot til 5 points , kidney shot , evasion, SS til 5 points, Eviscerate as finisher. That seems to be best style for these guys they usually never even get a shot on me. Hope this helps:D. Comment by Thottbot i was running to kill apes and big devilsaur comes and ganks me to hell! Comment by Allakhazam The Tyrant Devilsaur hits for around per claw swipe, and has a variety of spells, including Fear, breath fire , etc. Pretty nice fight. Comment by Allakhazam The only real problem with these mobs, is they don't get drawn onto the screen at far enough range, so even if you are zoomed out, and looking around, you can't really avoid them.

Just be prepared to run at all times while questing in ungoro. These guys are just a giant waste of time and serve no purpose other than to annoy. Otherwise just keep blowing hot air, ok? No one believes you. Comment by Allakhazam Went hunting these today for leather. Couldn't find any and someone told me they have been moved so Azshara. Is this true? If so, what part s? Comment by Allakhazam These guys, as well as the rest of the elite Devilsaurs are involved in a Druid quest chain.

It's annoying as all hell and attacking them while druids are trying to poison them is stupid and does nothing but kill the both of you. Comment by Allakhazam These guys are just plain mean. More than once have they interrupted my search for un'goro soil patches.

The first time I saw one of these I ran straight into about 5 other mobs, eventually escaped via the use of my priceless watch and my limited paladin shield. Females tend to be smaller and lighter than males, but are even more aggressive. The devilsaur uses its intimidating speed to charge prey as soon as they are within range. It typically targets the smallest creatures in a pack first, closing its powerful jaws over them and lifting them off the ground.

The devilsaur mauls its prey, biting and shaking until it or the enemy stops moving, swallows, and then moves on to the next target. Badly wounded devilsaurs have been known to flee, sometimes carrying opponents with them.

All the devilsaurs in Un'Goro are elite and range from level , the largest being King Mosh. All members of the devilsaur family are a deadly threat to the unlucky person they come across. With the release of patch 3. Some of the devilsaur's animations are shared with the Raptor's animations as well. Though hunters can respec their pet devilsaurs into Cunning or Tenacity, they are inherently Ferocity. In addition to the abilities that come standard with all pets [Growl] and [Avoidance] and those given to their natural or retrained specialization , all devilsaurs are given the following:.
