Should i south park
This was where Butters temporarily replaced Kenny and revealed himself to be an a amazing character. We would watch him gain 50 pounds so he could become the City Wok equivalent to Jared from Subway it was a more innocent time and put prosthetic testicles on his chin so he could go on The Maury Povich Show. Butters has become one of the most essential characters of South Park , and this was where he broke out, proving to be just as important as the four main boys. The show knew he was the most morally repugnant character, but in any episode, he could vary from a typical jerk to a murderous sociopath; this was where the writers found the perfect balance, putting him a little bit closer to the latter.
The dynamic between Butters and Cartman has been one of the most consistently enjoyable parts of the show, and this was where it came to fruition.
South Park has had plenty of great moments since, but seasons represent its golden age. These seasons featured a lot of what made seasons so great, but just…. Pretty much every season could be summed up this way; a few episodes that reminded you that South Park could still be as funny as anything on television, and a few that made you think it was getting long in the tooth.
Season 17 was perhaps the ultimate example of the up-and-down quality of these years. Perhaps that was why Matt and Trey decided to shake things up the following season, bringing us into the most recent era.

So south park has everything bad and awful it does have messages, but this show is rated 18 plus for a reason, now in all honestly when i was i did watch south park behind my moms back and when she found out she wasn't really mad. I didn't do drugs, have sex under age, swear at my mother or anything bad, but i think it takes a certain kind of kid to watch this kind of a shocking and sexual show and just keep it a show and not bring it into their life.
Remember the ginger kid thing? From south park? All the kids going around attacking orange haired people and kids. I watched that laughed and moved on, you can't take a joke and make it real. When the joke was more on cartman than the gingers. Anyway again, you have to have a very stable child for this. This title contains: Positive Messages. Positive role models. Its what every parent dreads hearing. Their kids begging, on their knees, saying "Can we watch South Park? I remember asking this many times over, but now that I have my own access to the shows, and have seen some with my friends, I'm always coming back for more.
Yes parents, I know how violent and sexually suggestive it can be, but some of the episodes really show how stupid or idiotic our own society can be at times, and make us drop-dead laughing about it.
As far as I feel, if your child is over the age of 12, and he is sure that he has the maturity to, go ahead and let him watch some episodes. The answer lies in their even-handed satirization — of everything. Notorious for their tongue-in-cheek humor, Parker and Stone are unafraid to self-satirize, too. What will we do next? All speculation was moot; the hashtag was no more than a marketing gimmick.
Kenny, as hooded vigilante Mysterion, proves he has immortality once and for all — and the show finally let's us in on a dark secret: every time Kenny dies, his mother becomes pregnant with a new Kenny. Gross… and a little bit genius.
South Park has always been brilliant at lampooning celebrities, and "Fishsticks" does an excellent job of mocking Kanye West. In the episode, Jimmy comes up with a joke.
Of course, everyone in South Park finds this hilarious and Cartman tries to steal credit for the whole thing. As the joke becomes a worldwide phenomenon, the only person who doesn't understand the punchline is Kanye West, who becomes increasingly desperate to know why everyone is laughing at him.
Technically this is a two-part episode, but "Go God Go" and "Go God Go XII" are invigorating watched for anyone who has ever put a big question mark in the religion column. Cartman attempts to freeze himself to make the three week wait for the Nintendo Wii tolerable, but ends up emerging in the year There's also an incredible sub-plot featuring Richard Dawkins helping Mrs. Garrison teach evolutionary biology resulting in a passionate affair. By the end of "Go God Go XII" you're left wondering whether Cartman is stuck in a time loop, doomed to repeat his mistakes for all eternity.
Parker and Stone couldn't resist taking a pop at Guitar Hero just as the world became enthralled by the video game series. The episode sees the main gang, including Clyde, Token, Jimmy, and Butters, playing the game, with Stan and Kyle smashing the , points record. The two are contacted by a talent agent and become rock star celebrities in the space of 24 hours. The fun really starts when Stan is encouraged by his manager to drop Kyle and partner with a kid, Thad, who has memorised all the buttons for all the songs.
Soon enough, Stan gets hooked on the game Heroin Hero.
